Spaghetti and Meatballs for Lazy People

The last thing I wanna do when I get home from work is spend a ton of time cooking. I want easy, convenient, and fast. I also want to avoid eating out as often as possible.

People make frozen food out to be this grand boogie monster that will destroy your insides, but there are so many frozen foods that save time, money, and sanity. All of which I need desperately.

This super easy recipe features Good and Gather frozen meatballs from target, that are always in my fridge. I use them for a number of things, but this is the quickest and most convenient way I use them.

                This serves one person.

Ingredients

Frozen meatballs, 6 (they’re small)

2 ounces of spaghetti,

or a handful of how much you think you want. It’s a guessing game!

A drizzle of olive oil

1 crushed garlic clove

1 teaspoon of dried chili flakes

1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

1 cup of marinara sauce

1/8 cup of milk

As much parmesan cheese as your soul desires.

 Directions:

1.       Preheat oven salted or toaster oven to 400 degrees.

2.       Put a pot of water on to boil for spaghetti.

3.       Put meatballs on a parchment lined sheet pan and spritz with some cooking spray.

4.       Bake for 20 minutes.

5.       While the meatballs are baking, the water will come to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, usually 10 – 12 minutes.

6.       At about the 15 minute mark, heat a skillet and drizzle with olive oil.

7.       Add garlic and seasonings. Cook for 2-3 minutes, but make sure the garlic doesn’t burn. It happens fast!

8.       Add marinara sauce and milk. Mix and let bubble.

9.       By this time the pasta and meatballs should be ready. Add the spaghetti and meatballs, mixing until covered in sauce.

10.   Plate and top with an unreasonable amount of cheese. Only your heart can tell you how much.

Congrats on your dinner. Do your happy dinner dance and go
